1. What is WordQuest?

WordQuest (Mobi) is a vocabulary learning app that helps you memorize words through games and spaced repetition. It is operated by Dmitry Lee (leedima06@gmail.com).

2. Data we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store this alongside your word sets, study progress, and leaderboard scores in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU). Word data you add (terms, definitions, example sentences, images) is also stored there.

3. How we use your data

• To sync your word sets and progress across devices
• To display your name and avatar in the app
• To show leaderboard rankings (only your score and display name are visible to others)
• To send you a magic link by email if you choose email sign-in

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

• Google OAuth — for sign-in (Google Privacy Policy)
• Supabase — database and file storage, EU region (Supabase Privacy Policy)
• Cloudflare Pages — web hosting (Cloudflare Privacy Policy)

5. Cookies & local storage

We use localStorage in your browser to save your word sets and app state locally. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

6. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at leedima06@gmail.com. We will remove your data within 30 days.

7. Children

WordQuest is intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version is always available at mobi-45p.pages.dev/#privacy.
